If a full crew is not at the rink 20 minutes prior to game time, one of the officials at the rink must contact the assignor so a replacement can potentially be found.
- If you work a game that involves an official not showing (no-show) you may be entitled to no-show pay. To qualify you must contact the assignor to report which officials are at the rink.
- No-shows and Lates are treated very seriously and will not be tolerated.
- Refereeing hockey is considered a JOB and not a hobby
- Not reporting a no-show is also a disciplinary offense
- If you think you may be running late for a game contact your assignor and the rink to notify you are coming. (Providing you are there before game time) This will save you being fined for a late charge.
